AI-first, checked by a person
We use AI for drafts, research and repetitive build work, because it makes projects faster and better value. Nothing it produces reaches you or goes live until a person has checked it.
Wilson's Websites has been building and looking after small business websites since 2020.
It started in 2020, in Hertfordshire, helping a local start-up get online. That went well enough that a few more businesses asked, and Wilson’s Websites became a real thing with real clients: a forest school, an accountancy practice, a sweet shop, a breast cancer charity, an events company.
Then life got busy. For several years we stopped advertising and stopped taking on new work. What we did not stop doing was looking after the sites we had already built: updating them, backing them up, renewing certificates, fixing the odd broken form. Some of those businesses have since closed. One of them is still online today, five years after we built it, and we still maintain it.
That quiet stretch turned out to be the most useful thing about us. Anybody can build a website. Rather fewer are still answering emails about it years later.
We are now based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, working across two countries: the original UK client base, and new work in Australia. Small businesses in both places have exactly the same problem: they were sold a website once, by somebody who is no longer picking up.

You get a written quote with a number and a date on it. If the job changes we tell you before we do the work, not after.
The domain, the hosting account, the content, the logins. All of it is registered in your name. If you ever want to leave, you take it with you and we help you move.
If something is not worth doing for your business we will say so, even when it is work we could have charged for. If a job is outside what we do well, we will point you at someone better.
The most common complaint about web designers is that they vanish. Being contactable two years after launch is most of what separates a good one from a bad one.
Tell us what your business does and what is getting in the way. We will tell you honestly whether we can help, and what it would cost.
